to have to do even more right here. >> mcmurphy, how are you trading this? >> i'm kind of with john there, michelle. i was in the camp of hoping that bernanke didn't do qe3. so we got qe3, the market reacted positively initially to it and now you've had the sell-off recently. i think when you look at the data that came out this morning, the revision down to 1.3% on gdp growth, obviously, we needed this qe3. it was necessary. we need some more stimulus in the economy. and i think you have to look at what the market is telling you. what's the s&p telling you? we've had a pullback for five or six days. very orderly pullback. we've held all our key support levels. i think right now the market is still in an uptrend and you don't fight that. you add on weakness here. >> i think you have to be selective where you add. i'm slightly positive, so i still think the market can move higher. however, i've been increasing my short positions going back for some short positions, but i've played for rallies, such as in the material stock. the numbers coming out of china, very weak. i don't expect any stim

that we think that as americans, not as republicans or democrats, that as americans, -- john and i were on appropriations together. why are their partisan issues? job is to get data and call witnesses are dead what you have partisan shaping us. why do you have leaders getting to choose who gets to sit on what committee in exchange for promising to go along with the party lines? why do we allow that to happen? well, the first part is the easy part. you can change the laws about primaries and you can change the laws about redistricting. in order to change the internal workings and the rules of congress, who can be the speaker, who and how a speaker can act. the only way to do it is to do what you are all doing tonight. when you are a congressman or senator or state legislature, show up at a meeting, be there and demand that they change. so many members of congress, the number of members of congress who vote with their party 95% of the time. if you build your party 95% of the time, you're not voting with your brain. you are not voting with your constituents. you are voting with your party.

with iran, john bolton's that are in mitt romney's camp. please them or be rationale. >> i thought as i was watching his convention speech, going along, saying he's doing a good job, this is an a-minus, b-plus speech, and then he veered into foreign policy in the last few seconds and it was scary as can be. the tone he took about iran, tone about russia, we're going to reinstate the cold war, third war in asia on the ground against iran, i was thinking of independent voters saying oh, my gosh, this guy has lost me. >> no appetite for that. >> that fits in with this broader narrative that mitt romney has tried to further about the president being weak on, you know, on american interests. you've written a book called a nation woosts, but we can't close out the show without mentioning it. the idea that somehow the president is apologizing for america -- mitt romney said it again today and jonathan, my favorite part, he was making this big point about the bigness of the american heart and bigness of the american spirit and the next line was and i will never apologize to -- for america. it w

. it led to riots so severe president john f. kennedy sent in the national guard to restore order. so 50 years long, how have things changed in america? >> i came back to mississippi in 1960 to launch a war against white supremacy with the intent of destroying it. the color line didn't enter the picture. only citizenship. and the rights and privileges there are and the reality of enjoying them or not enjoying them. and that's the reason why i looked the way i did because i knew the other side of fear that if someone was in the situation where they were afraid and showed no fear it would scare the life out of the other side and i know it was for rear because they were shaking like a leaf on a tree. my job was finished. once i put the president of the united states in the position where he had to use the military might of the united states of america to protect my rights as a citizen, everything else was somebody else's job. i was not a human being. i was a soldier. and soldiers when they go to war, what soldiers do is kill enemies. of course a soldier must at all times be ready to die for
